I am interested in learning about night vision equipment, laser siteing  etc. This is the only threads that I have seen. I wish it was a toic of it's own to discuss effective ecconomical ways of accomplishing night vision siteing. Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest or knowledge, one or the other. eddiegjr

If your going to use nite vision and a lazer DO NOT GET A GREEN LAZER. I use gen 3 gogles and with the weakest red lazer you can find you will have no trouble seeing the lazer far behond the range of your rifle. A green lazer will look like a spotlite instead of a lazer.

I don't know anything about night vision or laser sights or any kind of night shooting except a spot light and a scope or open sites. I am trying to get some info on options that are available for different uses. My shooting has been sparrows in equipment sheads and barns and coons in fruit trees. I don't need any long distance for that but I would like to learn. eddiegjr
