New Civil Right in California: Immigrants Have "Right" to Ignore Vehicle Code

The small city of Bell (pop. 39,000, 97% Hispanic) made news  in metropolitan Los Angeles County when it was revealed that its city government was rewarding itself with salaries ranging from $800,000 to $500,000 per year.    Bell a small, poor town with a high illegal alien population had some of the highest property taxes in So Cal.  

The people are up in arms and Jerry Brown, Cal. Atty. Gen. has filed suit against the city fathers.

More interesting, however, is a probe by Federal prosecutors investigating whether or not the city violated the rights of its Latino immigrant population by enforcement of traffic laws requiring driver's licenses, car registration and  auto insurance.

Got that?  Not only do Mexicans have a right to free public education, free  medical treatment, free welfare, free foodstamps, etc.,  they also  have a civil right to drive without a driver's  license, without registration and without auto insurance. (!)  

This is emblematic of the insanity that has overtaken our country and of the relegation of rank and file American citizens to the level of second class citizenship in our own country.  Collisions with uninsured, unlicensed illegal aliens is a huge problem in So Cal...but, they have a civil right to drive without a license and  without insurance and if your car is wrecked and you're injured and put in a wheel chair for the rest of your life....SCREW YOU!  You're only a vicious, racist gringo anyway.

By my reading it sounds like the exact opposite of what you're accusing.  That yes, the city was selective in their enforcement (ie, they weren't enforcing the laws on drivers licenses and such for certain people), and that the Federal government is investigating that.

If they were getting in trouble for actually enforcing the law then there would be no "selective enforcement", it would just be "enforcement".

Selective enforcement is the key.  If they are going around only pulling over brown people, then that is wrong.  If they let a black man drive by at 100mph in a 35 and pull over a Latino going 45 in a 35, then it is wrong.  Period.  Now so long as they are evenly enforcing the laws on all citizens...then no big deal cause that's their job.

There wouldn't be a problem if they were pulling over mostly Hispanics in a town that's 97% Hispanic.  That's to be expected, and wouldn't warrant an inquiry.  As a matter of fact, I'd wager that if the Hispanic population is THAT high, many of the council and a good deal of the cops are Hispanic.  It sounds a lot more like they were letting Hispanics go when they shouldn't have rather than the other way around.   Either way, the statement is somewhat ambiguous.  We really need more information to determine exactly what's going on.

I don't travel much, but I visited my sister in Californina once, and as she was chauffeuring me around, I asked about the number of cars we were passing that were sitting along side the freeway.   You know back here all you see on the main highways and interstates is traffic, blacktop and pavement.   But mile after mile there were all these vacant cars just sitting there on the shoulder of the road.  She told me in a ho hum manner that they were broke down vehicles abandoned by Hispanics.

In the City of Santa Anna.
They declared it an Illegal safe zone.
They then found that they needed to shut down all DUI check points, as all they were catching were illegals.
Imagine that- Illegals doing illegal things.  Think of all the people hurt, killed, property damaged because the Police were not allowed to do their job.
My question is;  If the people that make laws can ignore laws that others have made do the laws they make mean anything?
What I would like to see is a Governer with some stones that will march into these cities and tell them that he / she is cutting off all funding to the city until they follow the laws of the state and the country.
I would like to see the attorney general of the state charge these people failure to enforce laws, follow the constitution.
I would like to see the ACLU sue these city leaders personally for civil right violations.  They made US citizens second class to people that are committing crimes.  In Santa Ann, San Francisco, Bell and others sanctuary cities if you are illegal you are not responsible or are under the law and can commit what crimes you want. 
Have 50 to 60 State troopers (Ca Highway Patrol) arrest all of the city officials with all the media out front and do the perp walk for the camera and announce what city they are headed to next.

UPDATE:  Received a phone call this morning from friend who was rear ended by a Mexican, who had both a drivers license and insurance. The problem is they were in different names!  :'(

Thankfully my friend was not injured and the damage was slight. There may or may not be insurance coverage.

 This,  however, is the problem in Mexican occupied California.  Millions of "immigrants" get a pass from all the rules that apply to the few Americans still left in metropolitan Los Angeles. They can steal our ID's, steal our social security numbers, cheat on taxes and everything else and  we are condemned as "racist" and "bigots"  if we complain.

When the brown tidal wave hits your town, you too will know the joy  of  enemy occupation.  You too will find out first hand what it's like to be a second class citizen in what was once your country.  It's not yours anymore...it's theirs!
