wondering if this would be legal for deer
« on: September 17, 2010, 06:26:25 PM »
I am getting a HFX slingshot from Chief AJ out of Tuscola, Ill. It draws #42@28 and can shoot arrows. Either fishing or hunting type arrows. I know that I am going to get a lot of whys but I am more looking to see if it is legal or not. I would hate to shoot a deer with it and brag and then get a visit from my friendly Conservation officer later and have him give me a ticket. I only want to try it if it is legal. Meets the draw weight and it is hand drawn and isn't mechanically held. Please, I don't want to start a why or why not thread just wanting to see if it is legal or not.
Thanks,
Chris Kiefner

No, not legal in Indiana.  (asked an Indiana CO on another forum)
Encore / Mathews / Rem870 / Savage 10ML
