Well after day light hit, the deer started moving, and I must say even though I didn't hit this doe, it was fun handling a modern compound again....
I found this doe bleating, that had a yearling with her so I did not feel bad about getting ready to take her. My heart was beating so hard I thought it would have been caught on the video I was shooting of the hunt. Well I had my floater pin set at 40 yards. I took the shot, and heard the noise we all hate and that I was sure I had hit my bowhunter jacket sleave. The arrow went low, and looked like it may have gone to the right just a bit but she did seem hit. After recovering the arrow, there was no blood on it or the ground.
I then stepped this off back to my Doghouse blind, and it was 47 yards/long paces. I thought to myself, not bad at all and now I had that on video.
