New grips and holster for my SBH

I picked up a new Galco SA holster and a pair of curly maple grips for my SBH for my birthday, looks pretty snazzy.

I am not a good photographer, btw.







Bullets I am using, 245gr Bayou Bullets SWC + 11grs Unique, 250gr Mt. Baldy SWC + 10grs Unique and 310gr WFNGC + 21.0grs H110

Nice looking Super!  I have a set of Curly Maple grips on a 1911 that I own, and they look equally good (even if I do say so myself!).  I'll bet that 310 grain WFN hits like the hammer of Thor!

Thanks guys, I have not had a chance to shoot anything but paper with the 310's, I will say that it shoots right through paper though.  :)  Recoil is not ferocious but it is apperant that it has much horsepower. 

My papaw had 4 guns with custom curly maple stocks that I just loved to look at.  When I saw those grips I just had to buy them.

YEP.....I like those light colored grips on a dark handgun (and likewise the dark grips on nickel or SS). Sounds like you are carrying on a family tradition now. Gotta love it........
