« on: September 18, 2010, 04:13:44 PM »
was thinking about buying a goose specific shotgun and dont really want or can afford another semi. I got to looking at the nova and feel like it might fit the bill. It might get shot about 75 times a year maybe. Probably all loads will be 3.5". think its a good choice?

I love my NOVA! I bought mine around when Benelli first introduced them and mine has been great. Ive killed numerous turkeys with it and use it for shooting clay targets, crow hunting, and have used it rabbit hunting. Ive shot just about 12 gauge load I could get my hands on through it and it's never failed me. Mine patterns best with winchester supreme 3.5" 2oz #5 with a .655 kicks gobbling thunder choke. Good luck!

i had a nova riot gun with the rifle sights on it. very pleased with it, it had a mag dissconnect that allowed yu to change the round in the chamber without pulling one in from the tube mag.my son loved it for rabbits.ended up trading it off just cuz i ended up with too many other riot guns.kinda miss it actually.
