Pelican micro cases

 I've taken a liking to these little boxes. Good for stashing stuff that you don't want to get squished or wet...



 Can even clip or strap them to a pack if you want quick access, like 1st aid or something...





 Pretty nifty, methinks.  :)

They are pretty nifty. I like the way you put your batteries in the one case.

However, I couldn't help but notice how the yellow stood out against the camoflauged back pack. I would try to get something earth-toned or failing that, I would use black.

The yellow would standout just as much if you were out in the hills with that backpack. In other words you wouldn't be seen as low profile, if you didn't want your presence known.

But, you do have a good idea, which I will probably make good use of myself, I will just use a different color.

I carry two in my kayak. They're definitely waterproof! I prefer them over drybags because of their 'armor' aspect. I also have one on my dual-sport motorcycle. Dry, tough, even dustproof. Now if only they were more affordable. Have you seen their rifle cases?

I use one of these to protect my wife's 10" laptop.  Really like them, although pricey.  8)

Right-on 8)  My old man made himself 2 motorcycles out of old junk, literally.  My grandpa and he do them as projects to keep the old timer going.  He turns 90 in 2 months, so he's still doing pretty good to be welding and such.  ;)  Dad priced, but couldn't swing saddle bags for the one, so he just bought bicycle baskets.  Maybe this will give him some ideas anyway.  ;)
