I used a set of muzzleloader sites, 10.00 at the bargain table. The barrel I got off Gunbrokers for 40 bucks. I did drill through the chamber and tapped with 6/48 screws. I cut the barrel off to 24", mounted the front site the same way. Used long screws and ground them to fit and then polished the chamber and bore. Crap job, but have fired 100s of rounds with no issues. Next time I will weld/silver solder the rear. I do get a stuck shell every once in a while. I just drop a slug down the barrel and it comes right out. I load my own shells for turkey using unslit steel shot wads. Almost shoots like rifle out to about 75Y. The height of the front site is most important. Mine shoots way low. The fiber optics are really nice but I have to make a triangle to hit center of mass.
