Uhhh Let's see.... Average unemployment+inflation (Misery Index) rate under Jimmy carter was 20.27 He gave away the Panama Canal. He is responsible for the birth of radical Islam with the way he handled the whole deal with the Shah of Iran and Khomeini. He completely botched the whole Iranian hostage crisis and made the USA a laughing stock. The prime lending rate under his watch hit 21.5%. The highest rate in U.S. history under any president. How's that for starters? To say he was a incompetent fool is an insult to incompetent fools everywhere.
