They are two distinct, different revolvers - the Redhawk & Super Redhawk, so you'll be purchasing the Redhawk if that is what it is being sold as. To me, $550 is a little on the high side for a Redhawk but it's in the ballpark if in excellent condition. I picked one up this year for $385 (good condition but not excellent) and looked at a few in the $450/$475 range but held off. You won't run across many at those prices either, so I was lucky and you'll have to do some looking. Most are asking $550 and up depending what comes with the revolver such as rings/scope/holster/ammo etc but I don't think many are being sold at those prices. If the cylinder throats aren't way out of spec and you want it, no reason not to dicker a little and pick it up.
