Most are missing the most important issue here. There are so many things that government has falsely laid claim to and have become accepted by the people.
Like federal or government funds federal or government land and list goes on and on, these things do not exist. All these things including the government it's self belong to the people.
But whether by design or not those individuals that we the people have privileged with authority either omit or misquote the details that define who we as a people are and the roll of government. Some say that I'm just nit picking here. Words all have meaning and how words are composed has effect on this meaning. By allowing the omission of words from any composition distorts the original meaning. Do this long enough and it becomes the standard and is accepted.
In this case the omission of the words "by our Creator" is not a religious belief issue but a power issue. If left unchecked it will sooner or later bring about false acceptance that we do not derive our rights from our Creator ,but from the government through the Constitution.
