Question about dimpled cases
« on: December 06, 2003, 02:47:07 PM »
This is a simple question for seasoned reloaders, but I am not one.

When there is excess lube on the cases I am getting dimpled cases below the neck.  My question is are these cases ruined or can I load them and shoot?  Seems like the case capacity would be diminished and pressure would increase?????

As long as it's not too bad you'll be alright. It will just fire form it back out to the correct shape.   KN

Thanks for the response.  I figured I would be safe using them with a starting load as I work up new loads.  I appreciate the input.
