Sling for Stevens 22 Hornet single shot
« on: December 06, 2003, 05:30:18 PM »
I have a single shot 22 Hornet that breaks down. I use it for varmits and would like to add a sling to it. How do you add a sling to the forend? As you know it is locked  to the barrel by a clip with a spring so if the front end of the sling was mounted to the forend and was pulled very hard the forend would pull away from the barrel. I hope I explaind this well enough. I looked at the "c" type clamp for a gun with a magazine and thought about trying one . Thank You for any input!!!!!!
