   Yes, Democrats have a natural advantage. Right now they are digging for any kind of dirt they can find..true, alleged or false..to use against their election opponents. Thery will bring up divorces, dealer complaints, lawsuits (deserved or undeserved) and anything else, no matter how petty or even untrue, in an attempt to smear their opponents ..whether Republican or Tea Party.

  The advantage comes in that m,ost republicans have some moral values and the Tea Party is occupied with mostly 'family values' people.
     The Democrats cannot be hurt much with accusations of immorality, tax evasion, theft, divorce, treason or fraud!
       After all, the Democrats are the party of Barney Frank, Bill "I did not have sex.." Clinton, Tim Geitner &Tom Daschel, Charlie Rangel, John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer, Jane Fonda and Maxine Waters.
  When Conservatives have members who have done crooked or grossly immoral things...liberals embrace and defend such acts (e.g. Clinton's oval office antics..Dems said "everybody does it"). Obviously, such immorality doesn't bother the Democrats ..unless it is done by a conservative!  Democrats even go on to embrace the killing of little boys and girls as they emerge from the womb!
  Yes, the Dems have an advantage... in politics and in this fallen world.

In defence of Ironglow, no he did not do what the Dems do.  He hasn't accused anyone of anything that is not already out there.  He gave examples of what Dems have done, proved that they have done it, and still got away with it.  Dems sometimes lie about a Republican just to get an advantage.  Dem's are constantly telling old people that the Republicans are going to do away with Social Security.  The only thing I have ever found was a proposal to phase it out with your own private investment in a retirement plan starting below age 40, but leaving it in place for all over 40.  So, this is a lie they spread.  They say the Republicans are the party of the rich, yet most Democratic money comes from Billionaires.  Most Republican donations are $20 from average Americans.  Who is lieing here.  People are sick of the lies the far left spreads.  Look at global warming, mostly lies.  We didn't even have a health care crisis.  85% of those who didn't have it, chose not to buy it, even when offered at work.  Most were under 30.  They don't want to hear the facts.

Thanks for the defense guys! I didn't go out and dig up something they may have done as a high school kid, such as they did to the O'Donnell gal in Deleware. I didn't look to see if any of them produced illegitimate kids as teenagers either, nor did I probe into their transactions they may have made in family owned businesses..such as car dealers or ranch operators. I just dealt with common knowledge.
  Besides, I am not a Republican..but rather a Constitutionalist.
  Sometimes I think the Republicans are too wimpy! I remember how without any proof, the Democrats accused GW Bush of cocaine usage and avoiding military service.. the cocaine thing must have come from thin air, while his NG service was obvious...this coming from a crowd who fully backed a guy who admitted drug smoking, avoided the draft..saying he "loathes" the military and lying to the American people as he said, "I did not have sex...."
    After the unfounded accusations against Bush and at Dems pressing, Republicans shed themselves of Mark Foley and Larry Craig who were only accused of homosexual advances....Still, the Republicans have never made an issue over the escapades of Barney Frank who boasts of his queermanship, nor his home operated cat house, Tipsy O'Neill and his liking of alky nor Mary Jo Kopechne's death at Teddy's hands...

Republicans had a health care plan.
1) Allow companies to operate across state lines
2) Allow companies to advertise like they do with car insurance
3) 85% of those uninsured have health care offered to them by their companies.  So, make them get it.
4) Remaining 15% are either unemployed, poor, job doesn't offer it.  So allow insurance compaines to offer group rates for the part time workers.  

The republican plan would have covered 90-95% of all Americans, the remainder would be on medicare-medicaid.  

The insurance compaines have so many limitations, they can't really operate effectively with the current hodge podge mess.

Noone is supposed to be turned away at an ER if they don't have insurance.  This is a democratic lie.  Republicans have never said do completely away with social security.  This is another lie.  They want to offer alternatives like, IRA's, 401(k)'s. etc. 


Most uninsured are young people who want to spend their money on other things.

To say nothing of the advantage that Dumocrats have in registered voters where some individuals are found to be registered six times or more under different names.  In one case, out of 25,000 registered by Acorn, only about 1,700 were legitimate.  In our state our balloting is done by mail.  Dumocrat Party workers have been found with boxes full of extra ballots.  You never know when a few more votes might make a difference.

 It took a bunch of recounts for our present Dumocrat Governor to win.  The Republican won all but the last recount.
