I am telling what Leupold said.
I was in a quest for a good scope to put on a Remington Speedmaster.
I got a number of responses here and there.
I had e-mailed Leupold with the same question.
I decided--after reasearch and lots of conversation to get the VX-II 4-12 X 40 with AO.
Got two e-mails from Leupold yesterday.
Both of the responders had suggested the same scope.
Make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Glad you are happy with your decision. It's hard to beat Leupold's customer service IMO.

I feel that the best all around scope is a 3 1/2 x 10 VX 111 and second is a VX 11 in 3 x 9. Of course there is nothing wrong with a 4 x 12 and it may siut your shooting habits better anyway. I know you`ll be happy with it though.
