he passed hunters safety
« on: September 27, 2010, 03:56:01 AM »
my twelve year old son passed hunter safety friday ;D ;D  ;D
he makes me proud often but this is special so i gave him a   romania .22  trainer
it is a bolt rifle. saterday we went out and got his license. then off  to sight in, practice a lil 50 or so shots he has it down pat.
so off for a lil hunting and he shot a big fox squirrel one shot  ;D(thats my boy)
i helped him clean it ,i cooked it and we ate it. now he is hooked.
he still dose not get to keep the gun in his room all guns are put up by me/wife he did get to clean it tho.
same house rules apply.if you want to hunt/shoot/look at the guns you got to ask..

Good for him Ron. Always good to see kids getting into hunting and shooting. Keep up the good work with him.

Give him congrats and good shooting!  I remember when I got my first squirrel.  Was a special day and since then many, many have fallen.  ;)

Ron:
You might just let him keep that rifle in his room...........................................minus the bolt ;)
