Nancy Pelosi said the Tea Party was astro-turf. Saying they are not a real grassroots movement.

Organizing and supporting the ONE Nation Working Together March on Washington are unions, socialist groups, La Raza, AFL-CIO,

communist groups and other liberal and progressive political organizations, about 300 different ones in all. Glenn Beck told us where we can

sign up for the march on the "Communist Party USA" website, cpusa.org, click on "youth communist league usa". And there are a bunch of

websites like the DailyKos, 1199seiu and other socialist websites promoting it and offering free bus rides to the march.

Sounds like astro-turf to me!

I found the partial list of organizations that are endorsing the ONWT March on Washington, in case anyone is interested.
Unions, both national and international. Socialist, Communist, Marxist, Progressive, Democratic Party, Democratic Socialist, Religious, Racial, Homosexual and Gender based groups. All standing with Obama and his administration against Conservatives and America as we know it.

While most of the endorsers were predictable, I was disappointed to see the United Methodist Church on the list. And let me be clear, the views of this march do not seem in keeping with many of the Methodists I know, or their Chaplain with whom I serve. There are some Jewish organizations in there, and various churches. I may be mistaken, but I believe during the civil rights marches, there were many clergy in the marches, representing themselves, and not their respective churches or denominations. It is ironic that a good number of organizations that espouse atheism or extreme separation of church and state are marching along side religious organizations for the purpose of political change ...

I'm thinking that this display from Communists,Socialists and Marxist Democrats will hurt the Democrats more than help them in the elections and in popularity. I watched it on C-SPAN off and on and noticed that even the crowd got fed up before it was over and left. There were still people on stage speaking and performing when there was only a few hundred people left in the mall, if that many. It WAS redundant as all get-out. Same tired old Al Sharpton, social justice, victimization, liberal/progressive rants heavy on the union pitch. Not a very good showing considering there were some 400 groups supporting in the rally.

It also makes me wonder if Jon Stewart is having an epiphany about now!

Nice of some of these organizations to admit how far left they have gone. Back when the Sierra Club was founded I thought they had some good ideas. Now I know. I am disappointed to see some Baptist names on the list, but our Pastor has warned us about the liberalization of even our name.

Jesus said there would be false prophets, we are seeing that today. Our  pastors, or preachers, are our shepherds. Satan knows all too well that if he can get the shepherds, the flocks will follow. Look at some denominations that are now in support of homosexuality, even ordaining gay and lesbian preachers. Satan is alive and well, his days are numbered and he knows it, he will take as many souls as he can before his time is up. Don't be fooled by false prophets, they will lead you away from God, and ruin your salvation. POWDERMAN.

I hope that's true. And I hope they did it for all the right reasons. That would be a good thing!!

Because it might not be so pleasant for them to march in my town where a guy writes on the tailgate of his new pickup  "Better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it" , or where you overhear the ladies of the Church discussing what gun they prefer for home defense, or you overhear gun talk whenever you are in a crowd that is chatting away idle time.
