Patchbox installation question

Guys,
             I purchased this kit from Track of the Wolf recently.

I cannot figure out how to install the flat spring.  I have Emailed TOTW and they sent me an irrelavent brochure on patchbox release installation.  The Internet has thus far been a bust so I thought I would ask if anyone here had experience with a similar installation.
Any help would be great but those with pics might help more.
