As a public service, let me inform all here - for prosecutors, winning is very often far, far more important than justice.
couldnt agree with that more. sounds like you either are being put or have been through the wringer. you are one of the guys trying that i refered to; and they will hammer and bleed you all they can because you have things to lose. they are going to use your lack of knowlege about the system against you. they are going to try to take what you have.
whereas a career criminal knows the system, and what is worse is that the system knows them, and knows that they have nothing to take. in fact, it will cost them more to go after the scumbag and house him while he is in prison so they will not go after the scumbag unless the public outcry is enough that they are forced to.
the system is indeed broken, and exactly why i can not find pity for someone who is running from the police. the fact that i SEE him running from the cops PROVES to me he is a criminal. i see him on tape breaking the law right before my eyes. i know what this person is, and couldnt care less if he was hit, on accident or on purpose.
