My season is open and I have not got to hit the woods to hunt yet. I have took the 90 yearold dad with his crossbow and was support only, but seen three naturally :o(.  Fingers crossed for a Saturday afternooner for myself.

I shoot a 40# recurve... it's an old Wing that was given to me. It ain't nothing fancy but I shoot it pretty good. 20 yds. or closer and it'd be meat on the pole. ;D...30 yds. and I might be looking for my arrow though. :( :D
I'd rather miss with my recurve than hit 'em all with my compound though... there's no soul in a compound. ;)

That will work. Are you going stay factory with the string or try different materials? My last 2 Widows really did well with TS1 and padded loops.
