Details of this situation aside, propaganda - even in jest - depicting the "hunting" and killing of human beings as something enjoyable is not a good thing to be putting out there.  It's just further ammo for gun grabbers to use to present gun owners as bloodthirsty maniacs.

Maybe some pamplets will find their way south of the border and strike the fear of God into the animals that reside there and attack us.
MGMorden I understand your point but many have tried to follow the PC behavior format and have been worn thin by it and are deciding to be themselves.

My sister lives in AZ and she said some of the best hunting units are south of I-10 and the border, but the locals stay out of there for fear of the drug runners.  No one hunts there, because even armed, they are no match for the drug runners.

shoot, up here if there is hunting to be had, the boys are going to hunt it.  and if someone tried to stop them, they would just make their hunting parties bigger.....and maybe changing the game they are hunting.   when chi vang went on his rampage up here, one of the problems law enforcement had was people wanting to go after him.

SADDLEBUM. I know it was in jest but in my opinion a darn good solution. Drug runners, murderers, and pirates deserve no quarter. This was an attack on an American citizen, like an act of war. These scum  have declared war in my opinion and if I were the gov of Texas they'd darn sure get it. No reason for scum like that to live, human is debatable.
mgmorden. I think killing those animals would benefit the entire world. For scum like  that I see no difference between them and a rabid dog. POWDERMAN.  :o :o :o :o :o :o

I agree with you powderman that something, maybe drastic, has to be done. I think it should be done by the people we hired/elected to do it. I am all for military action all accross the southern border.

And now that you mention it, didn't we and other countries used to consider it an act of war when the people of one country killed the people of another? It seems to me that the whole world is still testing and proding Obama to see how far they can go. I see no line in the sand yet! On the southern border or anywhere else for that matter!

They blew a hole in a ship , they have Killed Americans all over the world and we refuse to stick it to them. Wouldn't want to use to much power ya know. On the radio this morning I heard the Governer of Tx asked the lead investgator in Mexico (vagas?) to return the body.
His head was sent to the police station.
There is a clear threat to us.
Didn't we invade Panama to get Norega for shipping drugs into the US?
Why are we not seeing the Mexican Cartels as a clear and present danger to our country and just allowing the CIA to wipe them out?

I still thnk that this is a bizarre story. Checked the Texas Hometown forum of arfcom, and it is about 50/50 between nuke MX vs the wife is lying. Apparently her story keeps changing and the US cops are not believing her. Who knows. Supposedly the area they were in was very interesting (seasonally flooded town), but they were in MX, very, very far from the launch point, and it was a known dangerous area for 50 years.

Yep, there's some doubt as to the wife's story but there's no doubt about the investigtor's head being cut off. Obviously the Mexican cartels are not happy with investigators snooping around. Bad for buiseness. Also there's no doubt about them claiming the lake is theirs. Not just the Mexican side, the whole lake. Now when drug cartels claim U.S. teritory it's about time the U.S. says no in no uncertain terms. I'm not saying start shooting people, but we dang sure should put a line of gun boats along the U.S. border of the lake and fire back at anyone foolish enough to fire at us or stupid enough to try and run the blockade. Obama sitting idle just shows how much he really cares about our security, or I should say, doesn't care. As for Mexican officials, most of them are arm and arm with the cartels. Heck, one of the Mexican talk show hosts on one of the news channels, Fox I think, had the audicity to say it's all the U.S. citizens fault due to our demand for drugs. That might be partialy true, but as someone who remembers the 60's and 70's quite well, you can't have an addict without the drug. It's the drug that sinks it's hooks in you, the drug that ruins your life and the lives of those close to you, and you can't get the drug, nor get hooked, without a supplier. As the old song said, " G** D*** the Pusher Man!" No supply, no drugs, no addicts and who are the biggest suppliers? Mexico and Columbia.

What incidents have there been on the US side of Falcon Lake? I know nothing about the lake, so tell me.

First it is a shared lake, so if you are an American, STAY ON THE US SIDE DUMMY. If an American is attacked on the US side by all means it is time to bring in serious protection. I would think that some Navy SEALS could probably deal quite well with keeping the US side safe. A few SEALS acting like American boaters/fisherman would be quite a surprise for the pirates plus it would probably be one of the more enjoyable missions a SEAL ever had.

From what I've heard on the news the cartels have put out the word that the whole lake belongs to them. Whether that's true or not I've only the news reports words. One thing I do know. Why would the drug cartels only claim the Mexican side? What good would that possibly do them? They use the lake to run drugs into the U.S. Ya gotta cross the line to do that now don't ya? That puts anyone on the lake anywhere, particularly the U.S. side, at risk. Drug runners don't like audiences nor witnesses. Why is Jane Valez Mitchell, On HLN not Fox as I'd thought, blaming the U.S. citizens for the problem of drug running from Mexico, on Falcon Lake, if the problem doesn't exist? It does exist and that puts us all at risk, not just those on the lake.

looks like they would want people all over that lake and make it hard to track everyone . There is more going on here i would guess. Maybe a probe on their part to see how much we will back away from.

I'd say you hit the nail right on the head. They're flexing their muscles and seeing just how much they can get away with. One thing to keep in mind. Drug cartels double as terrorists. They kill anyone that gets in their way and love making examples of it. If they have to kill inocent people to frighten others away from an area, or just to show how ruthless they are (Don't mess with us!), they think nothing of it. All in a days work and a job they take great pleasure in doing. Something is going on or what would be the point of beheading the investigator and sending his head to authorities in a suitcase? They obviously don't like anyone snooping around and killing him was a threat to others. If they did attack the couple, killing the husband, they sure weren't trying to keep a low profile. A thought I haven't heard expressed; Could it have been a drug deal that went wrong? Not knowing the couple I don't want to point fingers, but it's a question I'd darn sure look into were I an investigator.

I think we need to find a body to know for sure he was killed, and how he was killed. All we have for now is his wife's word on it. I'd also like to know how much life insurance he had. Apparently he was quite well off at one time, but had hit hard times for a while. Could be she murdered him for the money or it was an extravagant plot they both conceived(even got stopped by the cops to verify where they were going) and he is back in Mexico where they had been living before moving back to the states. Wife even states her husbands body will never be found....how does she know this? Maybe cause she knows there is no body. Could be a lot of things, and could very well be a terrible tragedy.........but in my mind, a lot of things don't add up.

They found his blood on her. That seems odd given that he was on a moving jet ski a safe distance from her when he was head shot.

Not really, she claimed she at first went back and tried to pull him onto her jet ski but said he was too heavy.

Eventually, someone is going to put her on a polygraph. Too many questions not to.
