requesting a twist rate for .223

Saw in the FAQ that the Marlin barrels are a mix of 1:9 & 1:12. I want to get the 1:9 since I have a lot of 62 grain for use in my AR.
Has anyone tried to request the 1:9 twist? I'm going to send off mine for bull barrel and the 1:12 twist would be a definite
handi
cap.(pardon the pun)

They haven't made a 1:12" barrel since 2007, so your only choice is 1:9", but don't plan on getting one until next year, they have very few acc barrels in stock now, give em a call first.

They don't have any .223 barrels of any type in stock.
They also didn't have the 20 gauge barrel I wanted either.
