clearance shopping
« on: December 07, 2003, 09:28:56 AM »
I usually wait till after christmas for clearances on fishing stuff but Cabelas has Mr Twister Kahle hooks on sale 25 for $3.99 great for plastics.  I set the hook on a 4.9lb bass so good I had to cut it out just a little "awesome weedless hooks" great for brush hogs.  Another great hook I like to use is the Eagle Claw weedless for senko type baits most walmarts have them.   I like to watch BassProShops and Cabelas in early spring for sales/clearances.  Dicks sporting goods and  Sportsmansguide.com for hunting clothing and optics on clearance too.  It pays to shop smart pay less buy more!!!!                     BigBill

I also shop at gofishing.com for fishing stuff too great prices on everything reels/rods/tackle too. Well I guess I started shopping early for next year while getting my ice fishing stuff ready.

I don't do a lot of mail order bait buying, but I do buy basics like line and hooks that way.

There's Fishing and then there's Bass Fishing
Its kinda like the difference between Sandlot Baseball and Playing on the Team.
The difference is Practice
