DIP trigger for model 60 marlin, anyone tried it ???

just curious if anybody has tried the DIP trigger for the model 60 yet and what were the results ??

I don't have one but I've heard some good reports.  I heard that it gets rid of creep and overtravel and lowers the pull weight a little.

I've been do'n some diggin around and basicly what your say'n is par for the course, I sold my old trusty rusty Marlin 60 because the trigger was spongy and way more travle than any gun should have, but it was a excellent shooter even aftre 25ish years of heavy service.

Now that ther is a fix for the trigger I'm gettin another one and workin the trigger over, look out squirrels.

You have my full attention.
The description gives a trigger guard/ and or a drop in trigger.
I also adds a confusing---too me---statement "can be added to the factory trigger with a little work.
I am confused----maybe afraid. You have an idea about my limitations--since I use a gunsmith a lot.
Now, I asked about doing trigger work on a .22 and he said he soesn't do general gunsmithing in the last 15 years---so I may be stuck with something I can't do.
What do you think?

Truthfully....I don't know.  I'm gonna give it a go.  The guys on Marlin Owners may have some good instructions for the trigger installation.

One trigger is a drop-in replacement and the other is 3/8" wide so in a factory housing it will require some fitting. I just fitted
 the trigger guard "Kit" in the wifes new 60SS. The pre-travel is all but gone, along with the over-travel.
