Weaver style steel scope mount for Contender question?
« on: October 02, 2010, 12:17:44 AM »
I have a all steel scope mount with torx screws and I would like to get another one so I can switch scopes between my barrels. The mount is matte finish with no markings at all and fits completely flat without any off sets. Is there a way to tell if it is a Warne , TC maxima or are they the same? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That is no problem I 'll try to post pictures today. I have to work a long day so it will be late this evening before I have a chance to post. Thanks

If you measure between either openings 1&3 or 2&4 it is the same 2&15/16 inches center to center

looks like a Warne. Same as a few I have. I think they make the Maxima

Thanks for the response. I thought it might be a Warne but was not sure.
