20 Gauge 870 Express Question

On the older 20 gauge Express models that had birch stocks did they make an adult buttstock?

As far as I know the 20 gauge Express has always been available in youth and adult versions.

I have one I bought used about 5 years ago and it is the adult version with what I assume is birch wood - at least a hardwood of some type, other than walnut.

Is it laminated?  Mine is a youth model with a light reddish birch stock.
