Atlas Lathe
« on: October 02, 2010, 07:52:24 PM »
Need a little help locating a part for an old lathe. Thought I would see if you guys seen any advertised anywhere. I'm looking for a MT1 3/8x24 or a MT1 1/2x20 drill chuck arbor.

I have seen them listed on ebay before but now that I want one they are nowhere to be found. My usual go to supplier doesn't have them listed either.
If you have an extra that you want to part with I'm interested. Also if you know of a reasonable priced source please post it.

 Thanks.

Haven't bought from these guys so can't comment. They want $5.60 for a 1/2-20 to MT1. I bought mine at Sears a few years ago as my woodlathe is an MT1.

Ah wait, here's an ebay one...

Good luck,

Hey thanks for the info.  The arbor I'm looking for is for mounting a drill chuck on. I am also making a couple of tool holders that will be attached to the same kind of arbor.

Did you ever get this? Ive had 3 old Atlas 6X18s through the years and know them pretty well, made and modified some tooling for them.
