Douglas,

I found the Puckle Gun video while looking for multi barreled cannons.  I also found this link to the Washington DC navy yard.  It has diagrams and descriptions of several breech loading cannons. Figure 8 has a Dutch made sliding wedge breechblock cannon of 1650.  Figures 5 & 6 are also early breech loading cannons.  Interesting reading.
