Evaluating property for deer hunting
« on: October 05, 2010, 03:50:04 AM »
I do not deer hunt myself but may be interested in selling a deer hunting lease or offering to let someone hunt if they would split the meat with me but I do not want to screw anyone. I know we have a quite a few deer in the general area. On my property itself I see tracks quite regularly but I may go as long as one or two months at a time without seeing one or more deer. As close a mile from my place it is not unusual to see deer several times a week driving to and from work. What are your all thoughts?

About 40 miles north of Wichita, KS. Have a half section there with about 220 acres of crop land, the rest is a 35 acre lake with surrounding flood plain and a hedge row that runs for about a half a mile behind the lake. In the far NE corner is a 4 acre pasture with a pond and my house.
