Have often thought about moving to Canada. I like the area around Calgary, Lethbridge, and Fort MacCloud. Yes, I've been there during the winter. Many of the people living in Alaska are from Canada. They come here and work for years then retire back to Canada. My neighbor's wife is a Canadian. She is a nurse, she says she gets paid better in Fairbanks than she got paid in Windsor.
My son Skyler has spent so much time in Canada he has gotten to know the people. He even talks like they do. Sky has said numerous times he would like to move to Comox, on Vancouver Island. I told him "Yes", I'll come to visit and we can go hunting togeather. He then says "No Dad I'm not moving there just so you can go hunting in Canada". Spoiled Brat!
