Elk seasons almost here

Fridays the day!  ;D Of course I didn't draw a tag but my daughter did, so I get to be gunbearer and pack mule.
At least i get to go!
She'll be using her Savage 7mm-08, she used a Handi-rifle last year no complaints from her elk! I'm still trying to
talk her outta that Handi, thought I could bribe her with the Savage but no luck! She's had alot of firsts with that gun
she may never shoot it again but she ain't gonna let me have it back!
Hopefully will have some pics soon of her with her new gun and 2nd elk!

Just talked to a buddy of mine yesterday who's heading out by Trinidad for a elk hunt.
Good luck to your daughter. And be careful you don't strain anything hualing her elk out. ;D

Well elk seasons over  :'( no complaints though, weather was beautiful probably too nice hardly needed a coat.
My daughter got her elk (cow) 30yd running shot, she made it look like she did it a hundred times. ;)
