Except in certain city hall and university parks, has anyone around your location seen enough squirrels to hunt?

the state forest, about 20min away, has a supply of squirrels. I have been going to NH to hunt with my friend and he has plenty of squirrels

I have a place I go once in a while that has some squirrels, but to be honest I see way more on the grounds of the college I work at.  We are constantly having problems with them getting into student apartments.

OK, all this talk of squirrel hunting made me decide to leave my bow home today and take my .22 and try to get some of the squirrels I've seen while bow hunting.  I saw 6 squirrels from the truck on the way to my spot,  I only saw 2 while I was in the woods.  I shot at one and missed and the other I couldn't get a shot at.  I did see a deer, but no bow.  Then I saw 3 more squirrels on the ride home.  Needless to say, luck wasn't with me today.  I still think there is more game in the city than in the woods.
