Any handi owners near central Wisconsin?
« on: October 19, 2010, 10:17:24 AM »
I'm planning on getting a h&r handi and once I start buying some more barrels i was wondering if there were any handi owners in the area that may help fit barrels if needed. Not to mention it's cool finding people that are interested in the same thing as you are!

Awesome! Hey for a barrel fitting it would be worth the drive if needed. How's the deer population up there by you? You having the same problems as northern Wisconsin?

I'm 1/2 hour west of Green Bay and 1/2 hour north of Appleton. I've fitted a barrel or two or three. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Yes, we are, but the herd seems to be in better shape than last year at this time.  They quit with doe tags in my area this year, so that may help if we have another mild winter.  Between black bear and coyotes taking youngsters and wolves and cougar taking adults, we're lucky we have any deer.
