I have my first encore, it's a Pro-Hunter with a 50 ca. muzzle loader barrel. It shoots great. What's drive'n me crazy are the forearm screws. If I snug them down enough to get the fore arm tight, the ramrod will not go in, if I back them off just enough to clear the ramrod, the fore arm is very loose. I've thought about grinding the screws off a little at a time until the fore arm is snug, while allowing the ramrod to go in. Anyone else already done this or is there a better way ?

Try a thicker washer under the screws.
