Has anyone had experience with this .22?
I am looking for a bolt operation and the T-Bolt sounds good.

Remington T-Bolt? I wasn't aware that Remington made a rifle, in a T-Bolt configuration... However, I don't pay too much attention to what Remington does!

I know that Browning does, because I have one.

I wanted an accurate (re:bolt) 22 so I fondled a Browning T-bolt a few months ago. Looked pretty, maybe too pretty.
Ended up with a CZ 452 American.

What happened to the Speedmaster? Did you get it or did you change your mind?

First of alll---that was a test---read my addendum to the opening request----OH, hell, I justed screwed up---glad I wasn't paying bills.

Actually I am getting the Remington--or have it and the scope is being put on.
Well, I also got a Marlin Mdl 60---but that is for my grandaughter Christmas.

No---I am serious about this Browning---I want a Bolt gun and the R--er--Browning looks just about what I want with a good Leupold scope.
I just wanted some feedback.
This will be my Chrsitmas present to myownself. My wife, the Hen, likes it this way as long as I get her something sparkly----she hates to buy for me.
I like Browning stuff---this is Japanese work but I like japanese craftsmanship an it appears that Browning keeps a close eye on their work.
If I could find a Belgium without that awful salted stock, I might consider that--but I suspect they are proud of them.
As fer smoking weed with Willy---Smokin weed makesyou smarter---if I was doin that I wouldn't have considered it to be a Remington  :D :P.
Anywho---keep the opinions coming.

If the Browning you get is as nice as the one I saw, you may have to buy a new suit of clothes to wear when you shoot it.

I've got a Belgian T-Bolt, and can tell you they're worth every dime - WITHOUT the plastic parts the Japanese version sports.

JMO, but the "saltwood" issue was 40 years ago.................. I would think by now, that any effected guns would be either history or repaired.

FWIW, since all Browning DOM can be dated through their SN codes, AND the saltwwod dates are also well known (1966-70), it shouldn't be all that hard to consider only Belgian T-Bolts with SN's out of the saltwwod years - if the issue is bothersome.

Old post, but I just caught it today...

FWIW I handled a T-Bolt (new, made in Japan) the other day and I was really impressed with it.  Went back a 2nd time too, after browsing all the other racks.  I didn't get it -- just spent my gun $$$ on a Savage BTVS a few weeks ago -- but I sure liked that T-Bolt.

What did you get?

I will get the T-Bolt----I am not sure if I will hold out for the Belgian.
It will sport a Leupold VX3 of some sort.

Salt wood guns are still coming out of the wood work. Had a gentleman ask about a problem with his Belgian centerfire (Olympian?) as the trigger blade fell off while in the case.. Worse are the rifles that were 'fixed' by coating the inlet with poly to shield the metal from the salt. It always fails but mayhaps not for a long while.. In an article I read somewhere (trade rag?) the guys in St.Louis said they have even found salt wood on guns other than Browings? Don't know how but nothing is impossible. When buying just check the buttpkate screws.. Hard to hide in there. If they are too new..be cautious. That said the Belgian T-Bolts shoot really well. I have a T2 that I used to hint with but it became almost too caluable to drag thru the woods..besides the Winchesters kept calling me back. My last purchase is a salt gun (T-Bolt) that I intend to redo and restock with a mannlicher stock. It's a T1 but will sure require a bunch of work. It shot well enough that I think I'm gonna leave the barrel alone other than welding in a few pits.. The worst part was the acsting for the trigger housing..and the guard.. The guard is pretty much ruined..eatten up from the inside.

I bought a RMEF version T-Bolt and put a VXIII 1.75 X 6 on it and REALLY like it. It shoots every bit as good as my Anschutz. Methinks you'll like it.

  IF, it shoots every bit as good as your Anschutz, then it's an exception one, or your Anchutz isn't up to par.  lol  Anyway, i'd love to see some groups from your T-bolt!
