Danish cannon being fired
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:32:55 AM »
An eighteenth century 12-pdr Danish cannon being fired in a 21 shot salute for the birthday of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. These guns are located at Kronborg Castle in Denmark, and they are only fired on special national occasions.

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

Nice photo, thank you.

Kind of a shame that they don't have the the old uniforms for things like that.

I wonder what they are shooting in that gun, it doesn't look like black powder?

Now where is the Danish version of Cannonmn?

Who will take up the gauntlet of finding the responsible parties for these fine cannon

and have the bronze disease halted?
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!
