straight grip stock on huntsman?

Has anyone put a straight grip stock on their huntman? I have a synthetic/stainless(?) and was thinking of going with the black lam straight grip stock set and the nokaspud peep. Don't really care for the synthetic. I you have, how does the gun feel, handle with that stock?

All the original Huntsmans came with straight grip stocks. My .45 .58's and 12ga still sport them as does my SS .50 that I change to a Monte Carlo when I do scope it. Kurt
