« on: October 23, 2010, 02:57:11 PM »
Anybody have a pacemaker-defibulater that shoots long guns? The Doc says I may need one.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

My mother had one until she passed away last week. It kept her alive at least another 4 years. You have to have a hard line phone in your home because they will call once a month and it transmits info over the phone line. Good luck with it and take care Dale

DALE. I believe he is concerned about recoil, firing long guns. I have no experience with the pacemaker. I would ask my dr about shooting just to be safe. Charlie.  ??? ???

I've had one for 6 years. just had my second one installed in feb.
the only problem is the fact that I'm a lefty, so I've had to learn to shoot right handed.
recoil is no problem.

I would advise you to get an I.D. bracelet or necklace warning of the defibrillator.
also, ask for a hand search at security checkpoints.
