My first thought would be, that President Obama - elected by our people in a free and fair election, and the Commander in Chief - isn't on the ballot this election.

Well, he made it in there the first time, with no experience at anything at all, with marxists views, with questionable pals, even wrote a book on himself that pretty much layed it all out.

This might just be the truth. Both the dum-o-crats and the rich left media have lost ground and are looking in many directions to save face and regain what they lost or are losing.
As far as the election now and next year ya'll are acting like its a bid race and the jockeys are holding back to place but not win. This might hold some truth also. No one wants to captian a sinking ship but it would be nice to be there to take ove the recovery when it comes around.

The Republicans have a shot at gaining some seats back. So then we fast forward another 2 years and the country is still jacked up, but we can blame the Republicans and vote BO back into office. Then in 2 years, the country is still jacked up and we vote the R's back into power. Then 2 years later the country is still jacked up and we can vote in a R president. Then 2 years later the country is still jacked up and we vote in a D house. Notice a pattern forming?

Since Andrew Jackson, every administration has increased debt, increased the size of government and increased spending. Clinton cut too much money out of the military and GWB pulled too much power into the executive. BO is trying to further too many social programs when the economy is dead.

Your choices at this point - liberal socialism or theocratic socialism. There are no politicians (excluding the Pauls) who honestly express liberty and financial conservatism as the base of their platform.

I think we may soon have a shot at a 3rd party - hopefully they will learn from the Tea Party and not allow a major party to subjugate them before they can establish a political presence.

Clinton left office with about $250 mil surplus which GWB turned into a $1.2 trillion deficit. BHO has increased that by another $0.4 trillion give or take.

I am not for either party, but assuming that the Dems broke it and the Repubs can fix it ignores the past performance of both parties. Honestly, do you think McCain / Palin would have fixed our country in the past 2 years?

Eliminate taxes, open up personal liberty and reduce regulations that hinder the operation of the free market. Move us back towards a constitutionally based government with most power held at the state and personal level. Most importantly - complete and public audit of the FED, which is the true ruler of this country.
