Whats your Inline of Choice?

With today's modern black powder rifles, what do you trust to take in the woods and why?

Thanks, Dan

I like my encore.  Dependable and accurate. I also carry my H&R sidekick a lot also. Lighter, easy to maneuver and accurate also.

I have been using Knights for several years. I am fond of the older MK 85's but also own some of the newer models (LRH, Disc extreme, etc.). They hold up year after year and have yet to disappoint me in the field. Working up loads for them has been relatively easy for me. I have yet to have one that did not meet or exceed their accuracy guarantee. I have never had to send one back for maintenance.

I've really liked my Buckstalker.  It's only downfall from the factory was the sights and I got a set of TruGlo's on it now.  Shoots good, carbine length and nice pointer.  Only thing I'd change is a wood stock, which I'll probably end up making myself.  ;)

I like my CVA Optima. It is identical to bigblock's except it has a Tasco World Class scope. Shoot .5" at 50 yards with TC Shockwaves and 90 grains of Pyro.

I have been really impressed with the CVA so far and will probably add another to shoot BH209 and Thor's in next year. Good quality piece.

Have one just like this and an Accura, both are great shooters. CVA has made giant leeps in quality in the last couple years.

Even tho i own two T/C's (with are sidelocks)if i was to buy a new inline, i would look for a cva. I've owned about all the inlines that are on the market and the cva's have been the best i've used! BUT thompson center does have the best customer service in the market hands down!!!

A Knight KRB, I chose to buy a raffle ticket and then won it! It shoots very well, better than I do. You might want to consider the fact that the business is a bit shakey at best. I figure the chances of needing a factory repair are slim, so don't worry much.

I've been a TC guy for years but had a issue with a omega that tc wouldn't do anything with so I bought a savage and I don't think i'll ever look back. less hassle  to clean and shoots well under a inch with performance well past what triple seven can do.

Savage Model 10. Burning AA5744. TC Sabots and 250 grain XTP's. A new 4x Burris this year, great accuracy @ 100 yards.

CVA Buckhorn. Why? It was eighty bucks on clearance, and it kills deer quite dead. Nice trigger, too.

This new one has really got me tempted...

T/Cs undersized bore is such a pain.  I also wish they made someting that looked like a rifle.  They used to.
