On the ballot here we have a referendum to allow a sherrif who has been convicted of a felony to hold and run for the office of sherrif. Now you can' t own or tote a firearm if you are convicted of a felony so I guess he or she would be a sherrif like andy taylor on maberry rfd. Now I know this state and its law enforcement are so corrupt is the reason for this referendum. Now the sherrif here in my county has to sign my permit to purchase a hand gun stating that he has checked and I am of good moral character and not a convicted felony  before he or she will give me a permit. Wonder how this will work? Does not stipulate what type of felony he or she has been convicted of. Personally I like the sherrif who is a convicted pedofile or wife beater as opposed to say the normal theif and muderer.

Lots of corruption through all our government. Look at the scandal the NCHP just had.I don't think our (pres?) is even a citizen.All one can do is vote.           In Forsyth Co. you have a 2 hr. window twice a day to apply for your pistol permit. After a waiting period you return to pick it up and pay $5 plus $3 notary for each.
