10-days in the SC woods and 7 deer
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:26:45 PM »
Just returned from Union, SC and the deer participated wonderfully.  My freezer is once again fulled to near capacity.

While there, I was privileged to participate as a Host in an Uplands Mobility Impaired hunt.  These able-bodies veterans, accident victims, and birth defect hunters are as spry as are you and I when the banter turns to hunting deer and they connect with their intended targets.  My hunters connected and I was graced to NOT have to search after dark for downed deer.  They were either DRT or dropped in the field.

Congrats, sounds like a great time. I have seen hunts on TV where they took Vets and handicapped  on hunts. That would have to be a great outing.

It gives proof there are still good folks around. Thank you for your time and effort. I am a father of a special needs child so I can tell you they appreciate such gestures of good will. Glad they had a great hunt!
