Rossi 92 Bolt peep, or tang sight

I have a Rossi 92 38/357 20" round barrel. Looking for recommendations on a rear sight. The bolt mounted peep sight looks like it would require a high front sight. The tang sight might be in the way on the grip. Anyone used either one?

I have the bolt mounted peep and love it. I shoot hot loads in mine and use a .500 fire sight on the front.

I used to wonder if a tang sight would get in the way of the grip, found out it doesn't really, just feels different for a while.
My eyes are getting older, so I went with a tang sight to get the peep closer to my eye.

I use both.

My .357 Rossi M92 zeroed easily @ 100yds with the bolt peep and the issue front sight.

I use the tang sight on another rifle, in conjunction with a folding rear bbl sight and the issue height front sight, to achieve two different zeros - a short range zero (say, 75yds) with the bbl sight, and a longer range zero (say, 125yds) with the tanger.

In use, I hunt with the tang sight folded for quickly-presented game shots with the rear bbl sight, and have always had more then ample time to raise the tang sight for game sighted further away.

In truth, though, I'm beginning to dislike more & more the thumb/grip disruption caused by the tang sight base.

I have a Lyman Tang sight on my .357 Rossi - I did wonder about it getting in the way of a good grip on the stock but I need not have wasted the energy thinking of it. The Tang sight has not got in the way at all out hunting or at the range and has proven nothing but an asset. I never use the folding rear Buckhorn sign I fitted. Best money I've ever spent on an aftermarket rifle accessory
