Some new targets
« on: November 01, 2010, 05:10:27 AM »
I need to purchase some new 1/2 scale silhouettes for our club, to replace some that are pretty well destroyed. I need them to be hard steel, AR-500 or T1 so they hold up to rifle fire (we use the same targets for cast bullet rifle silo). Does anybody have a favorite target supplier?

We use AR 400 for everything.  Sorry, but I can't help you on a target supplier as we make our own.  I did buy some air pistol swingers from Quality Targets & was very pleased with them.   www.qualitytargets.com

The first year of Half Scale our chickens & pigs were pretty well beat up.  We resolved that by remaking them from 1" AR 400.  An edge shot may chip a bit of metal off, but we don't get any damage on the bodies any longer.  I know, they are not legal but it sure cut down on maintenance costs!   :D :) ;D

I got them from Quality Target. Great folks to work with, and the targets look nice. Now if the wind would die down on match days we'll put them to the test!
