Not sure if this is the appropriate forum but, I see nothing better. Yesterday at the range a gentleman had a brand new bolt rifle. I believe it was a Browning but, is irrelevant. It was a 270 WSM, Winchester ammunition. He had a failure to fire. He brought the shell to me. The primer was out of the case. The bullet still in the case. The primer was later found in his magazine. Upon closer examination it was discovered that when manufactured the flash hole was not punched through completely. I have never seen this before.
