First a few years back the BATF stopped a guy who was manufacturing and selling this bull pup conversion.  I'm not sure if its legal or not even now?  I think the BATF jumped on the guy who was manufacturing them and shut him down.

From the looks of that site its legal now I guess.

I'm glad it's legal now, 'cause it looks pretty good - nice way to dress up a SKS.  It would be nice if the bullpup configuration made teh SKS handier to handle and easier to bring on target but the SKS is already pretty much there now.  Depending on cost it might be a fun set-up to play with.....

Mikey;  Now i gotta look for a parts sks to build this or pick up a cheap yugo to play with.

Since we can never own a real german strumgevere(spelling sorry) in 8mm kurz i been wanting to maybe build an sks lookalike into a a strumgevere.  I'm surprised that no one has made a kit with a 8mm barrel to build this yet.  I think its very doable too.  Maybe a bull pup in 8mm kurz.   Just something different to play with.

I don't like it either.  Notice where you put your right eye.  Looks like it's designed for hip shooting only.

I never like Bubba getting his mitts on a milsurp and "improving" them. All they do is lower the values.

Interesting idea.

How close is your face and eyes to everything.  Is it louder on our ears too since everything is more close to our heads?

When the very first chinese sks's were offered here and some accessories were offered too. I got the ventilated upper hand guard(steel with holes for cooling) it looked really cool.  And i also got the plastic skeleton stock and assembled the sks.  After looking at it, i disliked it because of the loss of the real wood look.  I hated the tricked out sks. I ended up changing it all back but the ventilated handguard.  The orginal wood stock looks so much nicer.

Now i'm thinking about it again with all this bull pup/changing the sks into a tactical sks, talk on most of the sks sections on the forums. I may keep an eye out for a beater yugo to play with. After all these many years i still have that plastic stock too. I been wanting to test out the night vision scope with a red lazer dot setup to see if it intergrates between the two and i can see the red dot in the night vision scope. But i'm not counting out the bull pup setup too. I just want to see at night whats stalking me in the north woods.

But did you look at the price? WOW!
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

haha.  nothing better than ruining a $100 rifle by putting a $675 (plus accessories) stock on it.  watch the videos on the website, it looks very awkward to me.
