As far as the tax breakdown table used in the report goes I beleive it to be wrong in the concept we are talking.
If I am not mistaken people in the lowest percentage (which IIRC is about 48% of the country) pay no taxes at all.
In fact, as of right now, the lowest percentage even get a refund from the government evet though they didn't pay in any taxes at all.
I also know there is a 15% tax bracket which the table didn't show.
When I read that reply I did keep an open mind, now I see that the numbers were set up to try and show what they were after.
I am not going to look but I am sure a survey can be found that would slant it way the other way.
As far as WB is concerned, when you are that rich you can easily find enough deductions (or loopholes) to off set a very large part of your taxes.
Heck, he could give away a $100,000.00 to a charity and deduct 100% of it and that would be far less than one days instrest on his money.
