Local Tournament(WITH PICS)

TOMORROW is the Big day for my little boys and I.  Our Taekwondo school will be hosting its first ever Regional Tournament right here in Jacksonville, Al.  All three of the kiddos will be competing and I will be judging all day! I will post lots of pics after tomorrow.  We start at 9am at the Jacksonville Community Center if anyone wants to come out and watch some amazing TKD competition!

HEATHER. Looking forward to the pics, I know your guys will do great. How many different classes of competition are there?, I assume it's by ages and possibly weight. Charlie.  ;D ;D

Wyatt competed in the Little Dragons Division which is for ages 3-5 and looked so cute.  They do give out scores in that division, but there isn't a 'winner', they all get the same trophy.  Now in Evan and Bradley's division they actually compete.  There were 8 kids in Bradley's division and he won 1st in sparring and second in Forms.   There were 11 kids in Evan's division and he won 2nd in Sparring and 3rd in Forms.  The kid that took first in Evan's forms division was one of my students from Piedmont.  Also ALL of my students medaled in at least one of two events!!!

Have always enjoyed seeing younger folk participate and do well in sports. Alot of younger kids grow up and retain the sportsmanship and competetive edge that, I believe, gives them the drive neccesary to be successful members of our nation. Good on ya for coaching and mentoring.
