Will a 243 barrel fit on my 20ga/22lr rossi youth

I just bought a rossi model # s201220b2 youth matched pair (20ga/22lr). does any one know if there is a 243 barrel that will work on this gun? I would have bought the trifecta if I was thinking, but I wasn't! any info would be apprieciated...

I don't know if the receiver for that set can handle the pressure.  Look at the post rossi barrel/receiver variants for measurements.  Ganjiro's 357 has a OD of 3/4 inch at the breech end.  My 308 has a OD of about 1 1/8 inch at the breech.  I'd think the 243 barrel would be about the same as the 308.  I haven't found anyone willing to sell their centerfire barrels.

I think the answer is most likely yes.  They are made and sold as that combo, I have the smaller frame 22/410 and a 20 gauge would not fit for sure.  I don't believe there is any difference in the frames of the shotguns and rifles.  Never know, but they sure look exactly the same, even the fireing pin is the same size.  Larry

I am also looking for .243 rossi barrel.  I called Rossi customer support and they don't sell the barrels.  You have to buy a combo or individual rifle.
