Back from Montana with 3 animals down
« on: November 05, 2010, 02:04:18 PM »
Had a good trip over in Montana. Other than my new HD camera not recording one of the best hunts and biggest Mule Deer that is   . It's off to the repair shop in hopes to get it back in time for our late season hunt in Colville with Bearpaw   . ANYWAY,,,,,, The trip was a success and I cant wait to go back next year so I can shoot something too   . Hope everyone is having a great season....
The first buck was about a 250 yard shot, we were sitting on a high ridge when I spotted it pop up from behind a little hill, Adam's dad (Rod) belly crawled over to a better angle to get the shot and bammm, down he went.
Adams buck was awesome, We worked our butt's off for it and the the camera recorded everything BUT THE KILL   , Yep,,, the stalk, the after excitement but it f*@&ed up and didn't record crap on the kill   . It did it a few times after too, loose wire? hell I don't know, I guess I'll find out soon.
The Antilope was awesome too, Spotted them about 3 miles away and made a bad a$$ stalk on them to get a shot at 78 yards. It was cool.
Anyway, I hope to know whats up with the camera soon

All on our own. One of my Pro-Staffers has a friend with a ton of property over there so we has a little advantage but we still had to hunt hard to get what we did. Good times.
